Kay Gilbert

Kay originally trained and worked within education, specifically in hospital schools from the early 70's, moving to Social Services in the 80's and there worked alongside Janice . Along with Ann and John they set up Footprints Counselling Service after completing a 3 year CTA course. After some years Ann and John left and in 2004 the name was changed to Footprints Connection. Janice retired in 2017.

Kay has also trained in Spiritual Direction at Whirlow Grange and offers individual accompaniment alongside her counselling practice.

Her approach to counselling is, generally speaking, Person Centred and broad based in order to be of the widest possible help. She sees her clients as individuals and tailors her approach to their needs.
